Post-Graduation Career Support: How Texas School of Phlebotomy Helps

Graduating from a healthcare program is an exciting milestone, but finding the right job can feel overwhelming. At Texas School of Phlebotomy, our commitment to your success doesn’t end at graduation. We provide robust post-graduation career support for students to help them transition smoothly into the workforce and start their new careers with confidence.

Resume Assistance and Daily Job Leads

During class, we help students build professional resumes using the e-hired.com platform. This tool not only streamlines the resume-building process but also connects students with real job opportunities.

✅ Students receive daily job lead emails for 180 days after being enrolled on the platform, keeping them informed of the latest openings in their area.

✅ We maintain an internal database of graduate resumes, and when employers reach out to us, we proactively send them qualified candidates.

Quarterly Job Fairs and Employer Connections

We regularly organize quarterly job fairs at the campus, providing graduates the opportunity to network directly with local employers. When employers have open positions, they often turn to TSP first because they trust the quality of our graduates.

Additional Support for Graduates

Feeling discouraged in your job hunt? Read our blog post about staying motivated and not giving up — finding a job is a journey, and persistence matters! If a graduate feels stuck after applying for jobs, we offer additional support:

  • Resume Reviews: We’ll revisit your resume and help you make strategic improvements.
  • Mock Interviews: If you’re getting interviews but not offers, we’ll set up a mock interview session with feedback to boost your confidence and presentation skills.

Graduates also have access to our Student-for-Life Program, where, for a small fee, they can return for additional practice sessions to maintain and sharpen their phlebotomy skills.

Note: To get the best results from our support systems, we encourage graduates to stay active in their job search immediately after graduation. Waiting extended periods after completing the course may limit the resources we can effectively offer.

Where Do Our Graduates Work?

Graduates of Texas School of Phlebotomy often find employment in a wide range of healthcare settings, including:

Plasma Donation Centers – such as BioLife Plasma Services and Grifols Plasma.

Blood Banks – like Carter BloodCare and South Texas Blood and Tissue Center.

Hospitals and Clinics – local medical centers and outpatient labs across Texas.

Mobile Phlebotomy Companies – providing services to nursing homes, insurance companies, and at-home patients.

These partnerships reflect the high demand for skilled phlebotomists and demonstrate that our graduates are trusted across the healthcare industry.
