DAREN MASTERS

Chief Executive Officer / Director of Education - Mansfield

I have over 15 years of Allied Health Field experence in many areas. Starting my education and career in Emergency Medicine my senior year in high school working in EMS and Emergency Care Attendant. In 2004, I moved to the DFW metroplex where i started working as a phlebotomist for the blood bank that opened many doors in my career that i had never thought possible.


I have worked as a Phlebotomist in many aspect, ranging from physician owned laboratorys, agencys, team lead, management and owning a staffing agency. I also over the years have learned the medical billing and coding for laboratorys. Working as team lead for a national health-fair screening company that allowed me to travle across the globe. I met my bussiness partner and friend Carol while working for the health-fair company and we have worked together ever since.


In 2013, Carol and i agreed we both wanted to train phlebotomist the " correct way". We had no way of knowing what that would truly mean to us until after we started our first class in Mansfield and the students made their way to a new career in phlebotomy. Traiing phlebotomist the correct way, has allowed me to find that my passion is not only helping people learn to be better phlebotomist but also helping them and their families to be able to provide a better life for themselves.

CAROL MUNSON

Chief Operating Officer / Director of Education - China Grove

I have been in the Allied Health field for 25 years. I received my training as a Electrodiagnostic Technologist from Veridian Health in Deerfield, IL, and have attended St. Phillips Community College of San Antonio, Palo Alto Community College of San Antonio and The Learning Pad of Austin, TX.


My work history is a well-travelled national one. I have lived in San Antonio with my children for 20 years. I am a native of Boerne, TX.


I have worked in many aspects of the medical field over the years in both clinical lab and management setting, both to which I attribute my success. I have a true love and passion for being in healthcare and enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others and find this to be the most rewarding profession.


We opened our first school Texas School of Phlebotomy of Mansfield in June of 2014 and the second location, Texas School of Phlebotomy of China Grove in March 2016.


I have a been with a wonderful man named Robert and we have four children, Amber, Brianna, Joey and Angie, and one grandson, Braiden. I enjoy many things in life, but most especially my family and friends. Our family enjoys spending time together fishing and hunting.

DEBBIE HAJOVSKY

Assistant Director of Education

Deborah joined the Texas School of Phlebotomy team in April of 2016 with the opening of the China Grove location. She has been a phlebotomist and medical assistant for over ten years.


Deborah brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her years of experience from working for a physician for two years, a hospital for five years and an outpatinet laboratory for two years.


When Deborah is not in the classroom, you can find her at one of many high school or college sporting events with her family or indulging in her passion of baking.

GINA SANDERS

Phlebotomy Instructor - Mansfield

I have been a Certified Phlebotomist and Medical Laboratory Assistant for 27 years. I have worked all clinical setting and on all patient populations during in that time. In addition, I have been a clinical instructor for several years, instructing in the field of Phlebotomy and the Clinical Laboratory.


I am involved in the community as the opportunity arises, and annually working with the St. Jude Foundation to promote and fund raise on their behalf. Ronald McDonald House is another of my favorite charities and holds a close and personla place in my heart. I have annually promoted both charities for years.


My passion is for the patient and their families foremost. It is the foundation for all we do as Healthcare workeers. Second, I believe in a learning style that conforms to the technical skill needed for a career in Phlebotomy as well as teaching professionalism and integrity and guiding the student in an environment that meets their learning needs.

ANDREW GARZA

Phlebotomy Instructor - China Grove

Andrew is a family man with a strong work ethic and professionalism. He graduated from Churchill High School in 2007. Seeking a professional skill in allied health, he graduated from Lamson Institute's Medical Laboratory Assisting program in 2009. Since then he has worked at a vast array of laboratory settings and healthcare environments from hospitals and private clinics to mobile phlebotomy and contract work with the military. A certified phlebotomist with almost a decade of experience, he joined Texas School of Phlebotomy in August 2017, eager to share his skill set and expertise with willing minds. Husband to a loving wife, step father to unique and entertaining stepchildren and a new grandpa, he enjoys music, movies, reading and spending time with his family.
