The IV Infusion Workshop is for the returning phlebotomy student or student with equivalent
field experience/training.


This course emphasizes a “hand-on” method. This course is a 6-hour

course that will focus on current IV administration techniques, as well as fluid balance, medica-
tions, complications and effects of IV therapy.

After completing the workshop, students will be issued a IV Infusion Workshop certificate.

Prerequisites: High school diploma, 18 years of age or older, completion of phlebotomy program
or equivalent field training/experience.

This course is for the person who is not sure if Phlebotomy is the right field for them or one who is interested in the medical field but not sure where to begin. The Phlebotomy Workshop is also for the returning phlebotomy student. This course emphasizes a“hands-on” method.


This course is a 4-hour course that contains classroom lecture and laboratoryinstruction and provides the student with skills and training to succeed as a phlebotomist.


After completing the workshop, students will be issued a Phlebotomy Workshop certificate. The course can be used for continuing education hours for your Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification.

Phlebotomy Course

All of our phlebotomy training classes are comprehensive and emphasizes a “hands-on” method – each student will draw blood several times in each class. These draws will be performed with supervision on other class members. Our instructors will guide you as you learn a variety of phlebotomy techniques. In addition, you will learn the “tricks of the trade” that will help with special patients and difficult draws.


Our 6-week course provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed as a phlebotomist. This course contains lecture discussion and practical instruction. Please contact our office if you have any questions about course requirements or time commitments.
