Certificate Programs

Texas School of Phlebotomy offers certificate of completion for Phlebotomy and EKG. Our courses are designed to provide an overall review of the most current practices and procedures with an emphasis on the most important competencies in the field and to empower individuals with the skills, knowledge and practical training needed for a successful career. Our curriculum is crafted to produce skilled, integral members of medical teams in clinical environments. We also offer continuing education seminars to help students advance their knowledge of and abilities within the field.

General Registration

Texas School of Phlebotomy offers programs year-round with a new course starting every month. Registration for any course is accepted at any time before the start time of the first day of class. Students must submit a registration/application form and pay the registration fee before the start time of the course for which they are enrolling. Registrations must be completed online. Due to the length of the course, a student may not register for a course after the first day of class.

Admissions Requirements

In order to be eligible for registration, students must be at least 18 years old and possess all of the following:

Phlebotomy Course (PHLEB100)

Required: 
ANY government-issued photo ID
High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED

IV Infusion Workshop (IV101)

Required: 
ANY government-issued photo ID
High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED
Completion of the phlebotomy program or equivalent field training/certification or higher and/or medical professional license or certification.

Phlebotomy Workshop (PW101) - Refresher Course

Basic Life Support /CPR Class

Required: 
ANY government-issued photo ID

EKG Course (EKG100)

Required: 
ANY government-issued photo ID
High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED
Completion of the phlebotomy program or equivalent field training/certification or higher and/or medical professional license/certification
or a BLS CPR Certification.
